I have lived in our parish for almost twenty-eight years, and together with my husband Grant we have participated in many parish ministries whilst raising our four children.

Currently, I am employed as the Family Educator at John the Baptist Primary school- a faith support based role nurturing strong and meaningful relationships between parish, school and families. Prior to this, I have worked in retail, hospitality management and the not- for- profit sector with disadvantaged children in our local area.

Within the parish, I have been involved in Children’s Liturgy, the Catechist ministry – celebrating more than 20 years’ service- the music ministry, liturgy committees, banner group, been an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and assisted my husband with St Vincent De Paul visits and many church Working Bees. For several years I also led the Sacramental group for Communion and Reconciliation. I am still involved in the CORE and the Confirmation Group through my school FE role and in recent years Grant and I also volunteer for Parish Housie each month raising funds for the Parish Church Building Fund.

I enjoy working with the people of my community and being of service in a meaningful way to others. You will often find me at 10am Sunday Mass playing the pipe organ!
